Your Garden to the Rescue Presentation

Please drop by for my gardening presentation tonight at the meeting of The Herb Society of America-Rocky Mountain Unit called “Your Garden to the Rescue.”

My presentation explains how every garden can be transformed into a living laboratory to help researchers identify signs of climate change, track migrating species, and monitor the health of the environment.

In the presentation, I explain what herbs gardeners can plant and how to get involved in 6 different citizen science projects from The National Wildlife Federation’s backyard habitats program to The Great Sunflower Project.

Whether you prefer to watch birds or bees, monitor buds on plants, or count the spots on ladybugs, there’s a citizen-science project waiting for you.

The presentation is open to the public and there’s no charge.

The meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. and will be in the The Colorado Federation of Garden Clubs headquarters, 1556 Emerson St., Denver, Colo., 80218.

I hope to see you there!
